Rain
Rain, rain, everywhere,
Over here and over there,
From the clouds, without a sound,
It makes its own way underground.

Rain, rain, never stops,
Running down around the shops.
Soaking clothes and shoes and hats,
Even all the pussy cats.

Rain, rain, forming puddles,
Causing chaos, panics, muddles,
Flooding drains, swelling streams,
Destroying papers; reams and reams.

Drought cannot be believed,
That idea won't be conceived
With all this water falling down,
Making dry earth muddy brown.

Water, water, everywhere,
Over here and over there,
Through the earth without a sound,
It'll stay locked underground.
