Remembrance
We will remember them,
The ones who died at sea,
Those on fields like Arnhem,
Not those like you and me.
We will remember those:-
Who died in muddy trenches,
Who fought off all our foes;
Their suffering our heart wrenches.
We will remember how
They battled for our freedom.
Let us just hope that now
The world will learn more wisdom.
